Crewe Gang Show Recruitment

Group Sports Day
The Group took over the Cumberland Sports Arena in Crewe last Sunday (18th June) for a Sports Day.
In blazing hot sunshine a crowd of family members and friends watched the races and cheered on the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts as they competed in various events including the 100m, 400m, beanbag race, water relay, long jump, welly wanging and a tug of war.
As it was also Father’s Day it was fitting that there were special events for the Dads to take part in too.
The eventual winners were the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts …
Cheshire Hike Successes
Over the weekend of 1st – 2nd April, five members of the Sandbach Scout Group took part in the Cheshire Hike.
Scouts Win at Swimming Gala
8 Scouts from the 39th took part in the annual South-West Cheshire District Swimming Gala held at Crewe Baths on Saturday 14th November.
Chief Scout’s Gold Awards 2015
10 Members of the Scout Troop recently completed the Chief Scout’s Gold Award, which is the highest award available to members of the Scouts section.
