8 Scouts from the 39th took part in the annual South-West Cheshire District Swimming Gala held at Crewe Baths on Saturday 14th November.

The event features Free Style, Breaststroke and Backstroke races, plus a team relay race with Scouts competing against those from other troops in two age categories. All competitors score points based on how well they do in each event they take part in, and the troop with the most points at the end of the night takes home the trophy.

Our team this year did really well, in both the “Scout A” (10 & 11 years old) and “Scout B” (12-14 years old) categories.
